Hi Everyone,

I am sorry that I have not posted in a couple of weeks but I was very busy with picking up photos from my sites and bringing them to new sites for the month of September.  I have a few weeks to get other projects done before I need to pick photos up again and bring to new sites for the month of October.

I have been busy taking photos of dahlias at Colorado State University (CSU).  They have so many and in so many colors; although, I am noticing that I have quite a few orange and orange and yellow flowers on my website.  I will need to take that into consideration the next time I go out to shoot more flowers.

I was very lucky to have my camera focused when this honey bee flew by and landed on the flower that I was photographing.  There were a lot of bees flying around and so when the middle of this flower and the bee were in focus, it put a smile on my face.

Enjoy your weekend.  Do what you like and like what you do...Diane Bee...utiful Dahlia.Bee...utiful Dahlia.Close-up of an orange and yellow Dahlia with a honey bee that fills the frame. Dahlia is a genus of bushy, tuberous, herbaceous perennial plants native to Mexico. The Dahlia was declared the national flower of Mexico in 1963. The tubers were grown as a food crop by the Aztecs.
