Pink Lilacs

Hi Everyone,

I'm finally getting around to writing a new blog post.  I am sorry that I did not get to it last week.

I have not found any Calypso Orchids, yet, but I am hoping that I will find some this weekend or next week.  It has been really cold and rainy here in Estes Park and the surrounding area so that may have delayed their arrival just a little.

But while I was biking about 2 weekends ago, I spotted this beautiful lilac bush in someone's yard.  The flowers were the pinkist that I have ever seen.  So when I was done riding, I drove back to the house where I saw them and asked if they would mind if I took a few pictures of their lilacs.  They were happy to let me take as many pictures as I wanted and so I did.

I hope you love them as much as I do.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend,

Lilacs usually have a strong fragrance that most people like and they are often considered to symbolize love.
