Pink Water Lilies and Swallowtail Butterfly-Denver Botanical Gardens

Hi Everyone,

I was on vacation for the last 2 weeks.  I was in the upper peninsula of Michigan visiting my Mom and brother & sister.  We had a birthday party for my Mom as she was celebrating her 90th birthday.  She lives on her own and needs no assistance of any kind.  We are lucky that she is doing so well.

Then we moved on to Green Bay, WI as that is where we moved from before me moved to Colorado.  We lived there for 37 years and had many friends to visit.  We had so much fun reconnecting with a lot of them.

Now I am back and blogging on my website.  I took this photo at the Denver Botanical Gardens before we left to go on our trip.  It just so happened that this Swallowtail Butterfly landed on this water lily at the same time that I was taking pictures.  I was so surprised that this happened and luckily got about 6 shots before it flew off.

Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe...Diane
