Pink and White Tulips

Hi Everyone,

It's that time of the year in Colorado when the tulips are blooming everywhere.  I love tulips and usually have them in my house beginning in January.  They brighten up my kitchen area and make me smile.  This is one of my tulips that I had in a vase in my house.  I love the pink color with an accent color of white.  It's so soft looking.  Keep coming back to my blog, as I will post more tulips as I can now take shots of them outside.

By the way, last weekend we were suppose to get anywhere from 1 - 4ft of snow in Estes.  As it turns out, we only got 1ft of snow but that was enough.  I am hoping that this weekend will be much nicer and that we can go biking on Sunday down in the valley which means either in Boulder or the Fort Collins area.

Have a GREAT weekend,

Diane

The tulip is a Eurasian and North African genus of perennial, bulbous plants in the lily family. Tulips are spring-blooming perennials that grow from bulbs. The tulip's large flowers usually bloom on scapes with leaves in a rosette at ground level and a single flowering stalk arising from amongst the leaves.
